Travelling west, we cycled to the sleepy town of Sam Neua, then on to Phonsavan. We spent the day touring the Plain of Jars, a mysterious plateau 50km wide scattered with over 300 stone jars, whose origin is still unknown. We continued through rolling mountain scenery to Phoukhoun and then finished our bicycle trip in the World Heritage-listed town of Luang Prabang with its friendly population, gorgeous golden temples and natural surroundings that include fabulous waterfalls.

This was a true cycling expedition, I loved cycling through the amazing scenery, and would highly recommend the Hanoi – Luang Prabang Adventure Cycling tour to all cycling enthusiasts who are looking for adventure.
