Full-Day Cycling Tour to Bat Trang Ceramic Village

This cycling adventure begins with a hotel pick-up by our local guide. At the bicycle warehouse, quality bicycles and safety gear are carefully fitted before setting off. The first stretch crosses the historic Long Bien Bridge, leading to a 1.5-hour cycling route off the beaten path, through back roads and riverbanks, offering a glimpse into the picturesque landscapes of the Red River Delta.

Along the way, lush vegetable farms, cornfields, and orchards line the riverbanks, creating a beautiful backdrop before reaching Bat Trang, a village renowned for its 700-year-old ceramics heritage. In Bat Trang, explore its ancient alleyways, wander through the bustling ceramic market, and visit traditional workshops where skilled artisans continue their time-honoured craft. The ride continues through Kim Lan pottery village to the tranquil hamlet of Xuan Quan, where charming village roads offer a chance to meet welcoming locals in their serene rural setting.

A Vietnamese lunch is served at a local restaurant before cycling back towards the city, crossing Long Bien Bridge once more as the ride comes to an end.

Please note: If you are not familiar with cycling in a city with busy traffic, we recommend starting the tour on the other side of the Long Bien Bridge. A small taxi fee will be added for the additional transport.
